Wonders are remarkable improvements that can only be built once. Wonders are urban improvements, built by a worker units on valid map tile inside the borders of a city at the appropriate Cultural level. Although constructing a wonder cost large amount of resources and takes longer much than other improvements, they also grant local bonus to the city and powerful nation-wide bonuses when completed. Completing a wonder also grants 2 Victory points to the nation and a Legitimacy boost to the leader. When a nation begins building a wonder, all other nations will be notified (even if that nation hadn't been met) and will not be able to build the same wonder for the rest of the game.

1st Tier Wonders
